While You Were Out

Math: Today all of the class made it to level E in Rocket Math. So to celebrate I will be having a class party on Friday during lunch where we will have games, snacks, and given the chance to not have math homework over the weekend.

Spelling: Today the class practiced their spelling words by playing a game of Sparkle with the words: and, or, up, it, is, own, the, new, he, and she.

Science: Today I introduced the class to Stage on of the Rock Cycle and we will continue tomorrow to go over that stage.

Reading: Today the class read the book "Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" by Mo Willems. We are learning on how to use manners and The proper way to ask for things so they don't get into trouble.

Social Studies: Today we learned that the left hand side of the road is the proper side to drive on and had Officer Dan came in to teach the class on Transportation Safety. The class is also learning about different races and ethnic groups.
